Red Cards

Purpose of Red Cards

All people in the United States, regardless of their immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. By understanding your rights and how to use them, you will be better equipped to advocate for yourself and respond appropriately to encounters with immigration enforcement.

Red cards are like helpful business cards that you can hand to an officer if they approach you in public, slide under your front door or show through a window if they knock and begin to ask questions. Red cards are printed with your rights under the Constitution, and a statement that you are exercising your right to remain silent.
